The PADems are working hard to rebuild and reunite democratic efforts across the state. When they ushered in Governor Tom Wolf, they realized an updated brand was needed. For this project, I built a modern version of their historic logo. One that could help them welcome their renewed efforts. All work created while leading creative team in a previous role.
The original logo felt strong, but dated. We were tasked with bringing in new life to the brandmarks. The clean, geometric letters are meant to capture the rich industrial, hardworking PA history. The keystone at the center symbolizes the importance of democracy and how central democratic efforts in the state build upon each other. The yellow and blue color palette are updated, versatile versions of the original. The colors create a bright and bold presence not to be ignored. Our agency was selected to update the Pennsylvania Democratic Party’s brand identity for future generations, highlighting their commitment to building and empowering a diverse political community for years to come.
